Michael Sutton joined Black Hills Information Security (BHIS) as a contractor with the Content & Community (C&C) team in April 2022. Previously working in insurance and eventually owning his own business, Michael decided to close up shop and focus his efforts in a new industry. As part of the C&C team, he champions outreach to grow the infosec community, as well as being part of the brainstorming and content creation process. He loves the focus on working with people: creating bonds and helping others reach the next level of their personal and professional success. Outside of work, Mike enjoys working out, discovering new bourbons, and spending time adventuring with his wife and daughter.
