Introducing the Original Tabletop Incident Response Card Game, brought to you by
Black Hills Information Security, Antisyphon Training, and Active Countermeasures.

Gamify Incident Response Training

Backdoors & Breaches takes traditional tabletop exercises and turns them into a structured, fun, & educational card game.

The original CORE Deck contains 52 unique cards that all represent different aspects of Incident response.
Whether those are commonly seen attacks, or even defensive tools or methods you could purchase or learn about…

Tabletop Exercises Have Never Been Easier!

Choose The Version That Best Fits Your Need

The Competitive Experience

In this version of Backdoors & Breaches, players are going to act in a much more adversarial way. Instead of working together to solve one kill chain, they are going to establish those kill chains on each other!

This fast-paced version uses many of the same mechanics as the Classic mode, but introduces an all-new element called Preparation (or PREP) cards. These cards allow each player to play however they would like! Each player will build a deck of 15 preparation cards which will give things like bonus rolls, skip turns, or even allow them to set traps on each other!

Each player will then take turns attacking or defending against the others until they wipe each other out of Resource Points (or RP), until there’s 1 player left standing!

This version of the game is ideal for Introducing Concepts, Strengthening Knowledge Bases, Family Game Nights, etc.

The Classic Experience

In this version, a secret kill chain of 4 attack cards will be crafted by an “Incident Captain”.
They can choose whatever they want, imagining a security breach that they will guide the “defenders” through.
Equipped with critical thinking, dice, and DETECTIONS, the Defenders will attempt to discover what the attackers are doing before it’s too late!
The gameplay of this Classic version of the game is cooperative; You either win as a team, or you lose as a team.

Depending on how the Defenders discover the incoming attacks in the kill chain, the Incident Captain can take note of potential weak areas for the Defenders, allowing them to go back and discuss situations later in training sessions!

This version of the game is ideal for: Tabletop Training Exercises, Lunch & Learns, Studying, etc
