Maggie Kay McBride joined Black Hills Information Security (BHIS) in March 2026, drawn to the mission of “doing good” in a field that impacts individuals and organizations around the world. She’s excited to help make cybersecurity more accessible and approachable for everyone. Prior to BHIS, Maggie Kay spent 15 years at SRAM, starting in logistics and moving into marketing, where she held a variety of roles focused on storytelling, brand, and engagement. She values a workplace where people feel safe, supported, and able to thrive, not just survive, and is excited to be part of that kind of culture at BHIS. Outside of work, Maggie Kay enjoys riding bikes, running, snowboarding, tending to her hobby farm, and growing her ever-expanding book collection.
