Seth Brenning joined Black Hills Information Security (BHIS) in May 2025 as an intern and became a Product Developer and Assistant Conference Coordinator later that year. He supports event and project management, graphic design, conference AV, photography, and development work on the Backdoors & Breaches card game. He chose BHIS to combine his interest in graphic design with learning cybersecurity, while returning to the area where he grew up. Before BHIS, Seth studied Photography and Motion at the University of Kentucky, University of Minnesota, and Minneapolis College, completing his capstone in spring 2025. His favorite part of BHIS is the strong community. Outside of work, he enjoys nature photography, gaming with friends, and basketball.
