Alex Storm is a Security Consultant at Black Hills Information Security (BHIS), bringing over fourteen years of IT experience to the team. He’s spent more than a decade in infosec after building his foundation in systems engineering, giving him well-rounded experience from both the offensive and defensive perspectives. One of his favorite parts about being at BHIS is the collaborative environment and having the opportunity to solve complex tactical puzzles with like-minded team. Alex also frequently spends his time designing hands-on educational labs (CTFs) for local schools and security groups.
Outside of work, Alex shifts his focus to the mat, where he competes and instructs professionally in Judo. His approach to security is backed by several high-level industry credentials, including his Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN), and GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT) certifications.
