Brian Godfrey joined Black Hills Information Security (BHIS) in March 2022 as a Community Support & Safety Admin. He assists community members and students in their admirable progression into the Cybersecurity field of their dreams, while keeping an eye out for negative acts that could detract from our harmonious and safe Discord community, guiding those lost and wandering back onto the pathway to success. In the decade before BHIS, Brian worked at an airport doing many roles at the same time, including Aviation Rescue Fire. He drove large trucks and spent around 12 months trying to learn Cybersecurity well enough to get a foot in the door. THANK YOU, John! He chose BHIS because of the awesome, smart, and generous folks who ARE BHIS and the wonderful community. The best part about working at BHIS is the people, some of the smartest, kindest, most generous of time and knowledge, and the amazing, encouraging community that has formed around BHIS.
