Tim Doerges joined Black Hills Information Security (BHIS) in June 2020 as an Intern, before going full time in July 2024 as a Logistics Administrator/Product Developer. In this role, he helps manage various teams by assisting with project management, coordinating assistance with the conference AV teams, and most importantly, leading the development of Backdoors & Breaches incident response card game. Prior to joining BHIS, he attended Montana State University, where he managed a 200-person marching band for 3 years, as well as being acting president of the Beta chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi in his senior year. He graduated in May 2024 with a BA in Music Technology. He says that the best part of working at BHIS is the people: “This place has some of the best coworkers anyone could ever wish for.” Outside of work, Tim enjoys composing music (including creating soundtracks and sound effects for video games), playing video games with friends, and taking nature photography.
