Zarah Khan is an Associate Security Engineer at Black Hills Information Security. After joining BHIS as an intern in March 2026 and transitioning to a full-time role in July, Zarah supports the development and maintenance of systems while contributing to automation, scripting, and infrastructure projects. Zarah enjoys learning across disciplines, collaborating with teammates, and tackling new technical challenges.
Before joining BHIS, Zarah served six years on active duty in the U.S. Navy as a cyber warfare engineer, where they focused on cyber capabilities development.
Outside of work, Zarah enjoys creative writing and drawing, training for 10Ks and aerial acrobatics, and sharpening their skills through Hack The Box challenges and hardware projects.
