Ben Burkhart joined Black Hills Information Security (BHIS) in September 2021 as an Information Security Analyst. Ben was drawn to BHIS because of their mission of knowledge sharing and mentoring. He is excited to work with such a talented and intelligent team and for the opportunity to help share the things he knows with others. Previously working as a pentester and consultant, Ben mostly focused on internal penetration assessments but also everything in between, including incident response, social engineering assessments, and cloud security configuration audits and reviews. Outside of work, Ben enjoys going for runs, cooking, playing video games, and caring for Louise, a retired racing greyhound.
