Dave Hoff joined the Black Hills Information Security (BHIS) team in 2020 as a SOC Analyst, responsible for maintaining and running the BHIS SOC, including detection strategies, cluster infrastructure, and data management. Prior to joining the team, Dave worked for a public university as a SIEM administrator. He chose BHIS because of the great wealth of knowledge that the team is eager to share. Outside of his time at BHIS, Dave enjoys playing guitar and piano, traveling, and working on cars.
