Kassie Kimball joined Black Hills Information Security (BHIS) in fall 2021 and serves as Managing Editor across the organization’s major publications. She oversees the PROMPT# zine, BHIS blogs, and Infosec Survival Guides, shaping their voice, direction, and production from ideation to release. Kassie manages editorial workflows, collaborates with contributors, and ensures all content meets high standards for clarity, accuracy, and impact. Prior to joining full-time, she worked with BHIS’s Content & Community Team as a freelance editor, where she became a trusted voice in refining educational and entertaining technical content. She considers it a dream to work remotely doing what she loves with a team she loves. Outside of work, Kassie enjoys playing games (of the video, board, and tabletop RPG variety), writing fiction, and rewatching The Office.
