Kelly Dance joined the BHIS team as a Tool Developer/Programmer/Software Engineer intern in July 2020.  He helps to develop internal tools like the Discord Bot that was used for our virtual conference, Wild West Hackin’ Fest.  He enjoys working with BHIS because of the flexible work schedule and the opportunity to put his programming experience to work.  Outside of work, Kelly enjoys programming projects like automating tasks, tools for homework (usually science-related), video game mods, or even useless programs he just happens to think were interesting. His favorite language is JavaScript/TypeScript, but recently he has been using Python as well.  He has also recently found competitive programming extremely fun and rewarding.  He has participated in USACO and Advent of Code and hopes to participate in ICPC next year.  He also loves gaming and some of his favorites are Minecraft, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, The Witness, The Talos Principle, Everspace, and Beat Saber.
