Owen Wisser started working with Black Hills Information Security (BHIS) as an Intern in October 2022, then became a full-time SOC Analyst in May 2023. He is responsible for monitoring and investigating alerts that come into the SOC. He chose BHIS because he enjoyed his time as an intern and loved the team he got to work with. Owen was previously a city parks and recreation landscaper before making the career switch to infosec. His favorite part of his job now are the people he works with and the helpful environment. Outside of work, Owen enjoys fishing, building computers, and camping.
