Daniel Pennington joined Black Hills Information Security (BHIS) in early 2024 as a SOC Analyst. In this role, he helps ensure that client environments are safe. Prior to this, Daniel worked in penetration testing, GRC, and security program consulting. He chose BHIS because of their reputation of being a group of people who want to work with excellence (and he has found that reputation to be true). Outside of work, Daniel enjoys calligraphy and TTRPGs.
