Chris Watson joined Black Hills Information Security (BHIS) in July 2023 as a SOC Analyst. In this role, he provides cyber threat intelligence, threat hunts customer networks and performs malware analysis. Previously, Chris worked as a threat hunter and incident responder for critical infrastructure as a member of USCYBERCOM. He chose BHIS because he likes doing cool things with cool people and believes that the company contributes a lot to the larger cyber community. His favorite part of work is the creative freedom and support to grow the organization. In his free time, Chris enjoys watching/reading anime/manga, spending time with his family, and traveling.
