Ayub Yusuf began working for Black Hills Information Security (BHIS) in 2023 as a Penetration Tester where he is responsible for performing web application and network penetration tests. Ayub has over eight years of experience in information technology and was previously employed at Stroz Friedberg as part of their Proactive Advisory Team. Ayub is an active member of the information security community where he volunteers with Antisyphon Training and competes in cybersecurity capture the flag competitions. He is also a Teaching Assistant for SEC401, SEC503, and SEC504 with the SANS Institute. His favorite part of working at BHIS is their focus on giving back to the community. In his free time, Ayub enjoys making his friends laugh, reading, playing chess, and learning new things.
